Larry LeBatique |
 Larry is a USPTA certified Teaching Professional. Originally from West Hartford, Connecticut, he played high school varsity tennis at Conard High where he was ranked #6 in CT. Larry, a competitive junior tournament player, attended the University of Connecticut where he played on the men’s team. He ran his home town recreation department in West Hartford. In 1993 Larry moved to Massachusetts to pursue a job in finance. In 2003, he changed careers from the financial industry to the tennis teaching field. Larry has taught at several tennis clubs, including the BSC at Lynnfield and the Winchester Swim and Tennis Club. Currently during the summers, he is the Head Pro at Meadowbrook Country Club in Reading. In 2002, Larry was ranked #1 in New England for both Men’s and Mixed Doubles in the USTA. In 2007, he was named USTA New England Captain of the Year for leading his 4.5 men’s team to Nationals in Tucson, AZ where the team finished 2nd. Larry comes to Bass River with his wealth of experience as the club’s Tennis Director. |
